Pete Richardson has dedicated much of his life to serving the Lake Gaston community through business, philanthropy, and volunteer leadership.

Born on November 8, 1967, Pete married his wife and business partner, Tami Richardson, on August 4, 2012. Together, they have built businesses and community initiatives that continue to make a lasting impact throughout the region.

​

In 2014, Pete founded Lake-A-Palooza, an annual fundraising event created to benefit children with medical needs while supporting the surrounding Lake Gaston community. Two years later, he opened Lake Gaston Pizza & More, which has proudly served as the event's major sponsor.

Pete's passion for giving back extends well beyond Lake-A-Palooza. In 2016, he launched the Community Christmas Toy Drive, providing holiday gifts for children across three surrounding counties. Since 2017, he has also served as a dedicated Board Member of Wobble Island Inc., helping advance the organization's mission and community outreach efforts.

In 2026, Pete organized and raffled a new golf cart to raise funds for two local college scholarships, continuing his commitment to investing in the next generation.

Pete is a proud supporter of veterans, local churches, volunteers, first responders, Child Protective Services, and countless community organizations. His leadership, generosity, and unwavering commitment to helping others have made him a respected and valued member of the Lake Gaston community.
